A Word About Our Products
Here at Shur-Co.® we take pride in manufacturing the highest quality
products possible. Our staff and engineers are constantly researching
and innovating new ideas to update our current products and developing
new products, which will improve safety and increase the economy
of operation.
Packaging
Shur-Co.® in-house
packaging makes sure all orders are delivered with care, protecting
your investment all the way to your door.
Orders
All orders are subject to written acceptance by Shur-Co.®, whose
corporate office and mailing address is PO Box 713, 2309 Shur-Lok
St., Yankton, South Dakota, 57078-0713. We are required by law
to collect sales tax on products shipped to states where we have
outlet stores. If tax exempt: a copy of your tax exempt certificate
must accompany your order.
Canadian Orders
All prices and shipping amounts are in U.S. Dollars. We accept
check or money orders on a U.S. Bank payable in U.S. Dollars,
or we will charge to your credit card. Credit Card charges will
be converted from U.S. to Canadian Dollars when your accounts
is charged. Customer is importer of record and is responsible
for paying duty and taxes. We will call you for approval before
we ship if shipping costs are excessive and subject to additional
charges.
Credit Terms
Shipments will be made on a cash basis. Shur-Co.® accepts the following
credit cards: Discover, VISA and MasterCard. To open a credit
account with Shur-Co.®, call and request an application. Open
accounts past 60 days will be put on automatic prepaid shipment
until account is current. Prices are subject to change without
notice and all sales are final.
Shipping
All orders will be shipped F.O.B. Shur-Co.®., Yankton, SD; Denver,
CO; Ravenna, OH; El Reno, OK; Fort Dodge, IA; Decatur, IL; Brookshire,
TX or Fargo, ND; Bridgeport, TX.
Shipments will be made by the most reasonable means in accordance
with size and weight of the order, unless specific routing instructions
are furnished by the customer. Shipments are made daily via UPS
and common carrier. Claims for shortages must be made within 10
days. Claims for damages or loss in transit must be made with the
carrier. To ensure delivery of items, we must have your full street
address and telephone number. When you receive your shipment, examine
the package(s) carefully. Be sure you have all the packages listed
on the delivery receipt. Large items such as steel tubing may be
packaged separately. If a package is damaged, open it and inspect
the contents before signing for delivery. If merchandise is damaged,
describe the damage on the truck delivery receipt. Shur-Co.® will
not ship C.O.D.
Warranty
Shur-Co.® warrants that all new, unused products are free from defects
in material and workmanship. This warranty is effective if the
product is properly installed and used for the purpose intended
and applies to the original buyer only. Shur-Co.® obligation
under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing any
part that is returned, transportation prepaid, to Shur-Co.®., Yankton,
South Dakota, if the product is, in our judgement, defective.
All materials returned without written authorization will be
refused. Shur-Co.® shall not be liable or responsible to supply
or pay labor to replace any part found defective, nor shall it
be liable for any damages of any kind of nature, to person, product,
property, or downtime. There are no warranties for used products
or products that have been repaired, altered, modified, subjected
to misuse, negligence, accident or ordinary wear and tear.
Shur-Co.® will not honor warranty claims if Non-Genuine Shur-Co.® Parts are utilized.
Return Policy
All returns for warranty must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise
Authorization number, (RMA#). This is to insure proper credit.
Transportation charges must be prepaid on returned warranty goods.
C.O.D. returns will not be accepted. Upon confirmation of deficiencies
by inspection, the merchandise will be corrected and returned
prepaid, or purchase price credited if under warranty. All other
returns are subject to 15% restocking fee. Any deviations to
above merchandise returns must be pre-approved. Prices, product
listing, line drawings, catalog, sizes, weights, and manufacturing
details are subject to change without notice. Shur-Co.® will not
accept any C.O.D. shipments or collect calls. If returns are
scheduled to be picked up by Shur-Co.®, no storage charges will
be paid by Shur-Co.® prior to pickup. Shur-Co.® will pickup the merchandise
at its earliest convenience. No person is authorized to modify
the forgoing conditions of sale whatsoever.
Restocking Fee: There is a 15% charge on all returned items.
Cancellation/Change Order Fee: After placing an order any changes
or cancellations may be subject to a fee up to 15% of the total
order.
Special Orders: A deposit/ fee may be required for special order
items.
